Dr. R. Tracy Inglis left for the South by the Limited last evening. Mr. J. T. Holmes arrived from the South by the Limited this morning. Messrs. E. C. Blomfleld and J. Alexander were among the passengers who left for the South last evening. Misses M- Cutforth and N. Mellsop, of Papatoetoe, are at present spending a holiday at Rotorua. The Rev. Father Wright, of Otahuhu, who has been on a nine months’ tour abroad, returned to Auckland this morning. His state of health is still unsatisfactory. Dr. S. M. Lambert, medical representative of the Rockefeller Foundation in the South Pacific Islands, and an outhority on tropical diseases, is visiting New Zealand, and is at present in Wellington. Mr. Dynes Fulton, chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, and Mr. W. Goodfellow, managing director of the same firm, left by train for Wellington last ‘ evening. Mr. C. Hudson, who is seriously ill, was accorded a motion of sympathy by the Auckland Diocesan Synod yesterday. Canon Tisdall, late warden of St. John’s College, was accorded a similar motion.
