TUTANEKAI RETURNS
FIVE WEEKS’ COAST TRIP (Special to THE SUN.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Government steamer Tutanekai returned to Wellington yesterday afternoon after a five weeks’ tour of the lighthouses, buoys and beacons around the coast of the North Island. Captain J. Bollons reported this morning that the trip had been uneventful. A day’s search was made for the missing launch Speedwell, and those on board kept a look-out throughout the time that the ship was in the vicinity of where the vessel was lost, but no sign of the launch was seen.
