TE AROHA PIONEERS
YESTERDAY’S REUNION CARNIVAL WEEK FEATURE (From Our Own Correspondent) TE AROHA, To-day. Principal interest in the Te Aroha carnival yesterday was centred in the re-union of Te Aroha pioneers, who were entertained by the carnival committee. The Mayor, Mr. R. Coulter, presided and addressed a hearty welcome to the old settlers whose tenacity and industry had laid the foundations of the district’s prosperity. There were fully 100 of the old settlers present, many of whom had been resident in the district for over 50 years. Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. J. Robinson, Mr. A. Bossoms, Mr. R.
