A STRONG PROGRAMME “Blind Alleys,” Thomas Meighan’s latest Paramount production, reaching the Capitol Theatre to-night, is an exciting melodrama of two people who become separated on the first night of their honeymoon. All sorts of thrills, including a second woman, enter intc it before the fina fadeout. There are a number and variety o: city street scene: in'the Owen Davi: melodrama. Foi instance, Mr. Meighan is hit by ar autom o b i 1 e i i Times Square, tw< taxi rides a r i taken, a couple o_ hotels shown and a sequence even takes place on a river dock. Incidentally, the Bureau of Missing Persons at Police Headquarters is also seen. A shack in the wilds of Long Island provides a setting for a dramatic episode with Greta Xissen. The Universal-Jewel film “Hey! Hey! Cowboy,” starring Hoot Gibson, will also be screened to-night. Lars Hanson, who made his first screen appearance with Lillian Gish in “The Scarlet Letter.” will be seen shortly in a dramatic picture entitled “Captain Salvation.” Pauline Stark, Ernest Torrance. Marceline Day. and George Fawcett are also included in the cast,
