SHREWD
A WITNESS. who suspected that his bank book had been stolen by the man against whom He gave evidence at the Police Court to-day, said that the accused had asked him to put his name in an autograph book at seven o'clock one morning. “Did you do it?” asked ChiefDetective Cummings. . “Yes,” replied the witness, “but 1 printed it.”
