OTOROHANGA MASONS
INSTALLATION CEREMONY
At the annual installation of Lodge Maniapoto, Otorohanga. Wor. Bro. F. O. R. Phillips was installed as master of the lodge. The proceedings were under the provincial grandmaster. M. W. Bro. O. Nicholson, who was supported by several other prominent Grand Lodge officials, including Wor. Bro. M. A. Bennev.
An interesting coincidence was that it was Wor. Bro. Benney’s 73rd birthday, which, in view of his hale and hearty appearance, was hard for his friends to believe. There was an unusually large . attendance of visiting craftsmen.
After the ceremony had been completed an adjournment was made to the town hall for the annual banquet.
