BRITISH MINERS’ SECRETARY NO VISA OF PASSPORT By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. The authorities in Poland have refused to visa the passport of the British miners’ secretary, Mr. A. J. Cook, to permit him to attend a meeting of the executive of the Miners’ International at Warsaw. The Trade Union Congress interviewed the British Foreign Office, which refused to intervene.—A. and N.Z.
