MIRACULOUS ESCAPE

Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. Hurled 15yds from his motor-cycle, turning somersaults as he went, H. S. Weston, of Whiteleigh Avenue, Addington, had a miraculous escape from death last evening, when his machine collided with a motor-car at the intersection of Lyttelton Street and Lincoln Road. One eye-witness said he went through the air like a stone. Weston suffered shock and bruises, but was not seriously hurt.
