DUNEDIN RESOLUTIONS Press Association. DUNEDIN, Tuesday. The Anglican Synod resumed its sitting to-day, when the report was taken of the commission appointed to inquire into the proposed alteration in the fundamental clauses, as proposed by General Synod in 1925. It was resolved, with one dissentient, as follows: “That this Diocesan Synod protests against the proposal of the General Synod to promote a Bill in Parliament to make it lawful for the General Synod to alter, revoke, add to, or diminish any of the provisions declared by the constitution to be fundamental.” It was further resolved, without dis- j sent: “That this Diocesan Synod will j not protest against General Synod j applying to Parliament for protection I of Church property in case a revision j of the Book of Common Prayer, or of | the Authorised Version of the Bible be 1 adopted by lawful authority,” and. j “that the bishop be requested to em- ! body these resolutions in the form of j a memorial to the General Synod.” (
