TARIFF PROVISION
! A clause has been inserted in the | tariff legislation to allow equipment to be imported for hospitals duty free, whether it comes from Britain or America. Making this statement to the Hospital Board yesterday, the chairman, ; Mr. W. Wallace, said: “As far as possible we get British goods, but even the department has to get the Ameri- | can article sometimes.”
