“THE SECRET STUDIO”

AT STRAND ON FRIDAY

Olive Borden. the brilliant young actress of international prominence, heads the cast of Victor Schertzinger’s production of ‘’The Secret Studio.” which opens on Friday at the Strand Theatre.

In this Fox Films version of Hazel Livingston’s widely-read newspaper serial. Miss Borden is ably supported by a distinguished cast including Clifford Holland, Ben Bard. Walter MeGrail. Margaret Livingston, .Joseph Cawthorn, Xoreen Phillips and Kate Bruce.

The action of the play pivots about Miss Borden in the role of Rosemary Merton, a modern American girl, daughter of a middle-class family living in New Jersey. It is her activities in search of a career, when she decides to leave college and make her own living, that provide the motivation of the story.

The surprise elements, which have been carefully worked out by Schertzinger. are vividly entertaining and to disclose the details here would be to deprive theatregoers of the greater part of the thrill of viewing the picture firsthand.
