SKID IN ST. LUKE’S ROAD

When a one-ton motor truck, owned by the Nlkau Bacon Companjg overturned at the junction of St. Luke s and Edendale Roads shortly after noon yesterday, the driver, Mr. N. Brown, had a narrow escape from serious injury. In avoiding another vehicle Mr. Brown turned into St. Luke’s Road, but the vehicle skidded and he struck a. telegraph pole and capsized. Mr. Brown suffered minor abrasions and "hock. The truck was damaged in the front.
