CAPITOL

NEW PROGRAMME The management of the Capitol Theatre, believing that it is impossible to please all of the people all of the time, is at least making an effort to please them all some of the time. This feat is promised for to-night, when the screen pro du c t i o n of "Flames” will begin an engagement at that theatre. “Flames” is a romantic story of the North-West, featured by thrills and fast action, the main dramatic moment being one of the most awesome and realistic forest fires ever screened. To make sure that this picture w*ould please one hundred per cent., the producers did not stop at the story, but gathered together a cast for its presentation that is truly all-star. Four of the most popular and bestknown screen favourites have the leading roles. They are Virginia Valli, Eugene O’Brien, Jean Hersholt and Bryant Washburn. The Fox feature film, “Stage Madness,” will also be screened tonight.
