BANKS IN GOOD TONE MINING QUIET Business on the ’Change this morning was spread over several sections. In miscellaneous, Auckland Amusement Parks were done at 16s 3d. Sanfords are, if anything, slightly easier. Colonial Sugars and British Tobaccos are both firmer with steady buyers at £53 ss, and 5Ss 3d respectively. Mining is quiet, with Ohinemuris registering a weakening tendency. Occidental Unas (con.) were done at Is 3d. Banks are in good tone and wellsupported.
