COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waipiata is sailing from Auckland at 10 o’clock to-night for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The Waimea, which arrived here yesterday from East Coast ports, sails tomorrow at- 4 p.m. on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Kaimanawa, from Westport, left New Plymouth at 2 p.m. off Saturday for Auckland, where she is due this afternoon. The Wingatui is expected to leave Dunedin this afternoon, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland, and is due here early next week. The Kamona, which is loading at Greymouth to-day for Auckland, is expected here about Friday. The Kaituna is to load at Westport today for New Plymouth and Auckland, and is expected here about Saturday. The Katoa loads at Lyttelton on Thursday and completes at Picton for Auckland, where she is due about October 26. The Kaitangata is to leave Auckland on Wednesday for Greymouth, where she will load for Napier and Auckland. The Kaiapoi, from Bunbury and Hobart, leaves here at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington and Lyttelton to complete her discharge. The Gunbar, which arrives here on Wednesday from East Coast ports, undergoes her annual overhaul and survey at this port. The West Nivaria leaves Napier on Wednesday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Wanganui. The Atholl, which arrived at Dunedin yesterday from Lyttelton, sails to-mor-row for Wanganui to complete her discharge of New York cargo. The Waipu, leaving at 4.30 p.m. to-day for Kerepeehi, returns again on Wednesday morning. The Clansman sails at 5 o clock this afternoon for Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui. She is due back on Friday morning next. The Matangi, leaving at i p.m. to-day for Tauranga, returns again on Wednesday morning. The Otinmi sails at 4 p.m. to-day for Kutarere and Opotiki. The Pono leaves at three o clock this afternoon for Tutukaka. The Torea sails at 3 p.m. to-day for Mercury Bay. . . The Kawau left early this afternoon for Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai. She is due back again to-morrow evening. The Omana leaves at 5 p.m. to-day tor Brown's Bay. She arrives back again at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Taniwha is due from Paeroa at S a.m. to-morrow. She sails again the same evening on the return trip. The Claymore aimives at 8 a.m. to-mor-row from * WTiangarei, and sails again at 10.30 p.m. the same day on the return trip. _ The Hauiti is scheduled to sail at t o’clock to-morrow morning for Coromandel, and returns again in the evening.
The Motu sails at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Whakatane. The Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ steamer Tiroa loads to-day and sails at noon tomorrow for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Richardson steamer Mako left early this afternoon for East Coast bays, including Tolaga Bay, Napier and Wairoa. The Awahou arrived yesterday from the coast, and berthed at Queen’s Wharf. She loads to-day and to-morrow, and sails at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Tokomaru Bav, Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Portland sails this afternoon for Whakatane. „ .
The Scot leaves to-night for Waipu. The Elsie Mary and Coronation left on Saturday for Gisborne and Awanui respectively. The Ladv Eva arrived at noon yesterday from Whangarei with a barge of wood in tow. The Antonio is expected to leave New Plymouth on Wednesday for Wanganu to complete her discharge.
The Canadian Scottish arrived at Wellington yesterday- from Auckland and sails to-morrow for Lyttelton, Timarn and Dunedin. The Epsom completes her discharge at Auckland to-morrow. Her future movements have not yet been fixed. The Maryland arrived at Westport this j morning from Auckland and sails to- j morrow for Australia for orders. The Pacific Transport sails from West- i port to-day for Ocean and Nauru Islands j to load for New Zealand or Australia. The "Ribera leaves Wellington to-mor-row afternoon for Lyttelton, Dunedin. Brisbane and Sydney. The Turakina arrived at Wellington yesterday from Auckland and leaves on Thursday for Lyttelton and Dunedin.
