A HEALTHY TONE TARANAKI OILS IMPROVE Business opened for the week on the ’Change this morning: with a healthy tone prevailing in most sections. In banks. Commercial of Australia continue firm with sellers at 2Ss 4d. supported .by buyers at 2Ss. NewSouth Wales remain in good tone. Waipa Coals have eased to see a sale this morning at 15s 9d. Ilikurangis are also easier, but most other shares in this section continue firm. Miscellaneous is quiet and mostly idle. Taranaki Oils have improved to sales at 7s 9d. Interest in mining is confined chiefly to two or three companies. Oliinemuris weakened slightly this morning. Gilt-edged securities have a firming tendency.
