KNOX’S CONVICTIONS GAOL RELEASE CELEBRATED “Give me a chance,” said Edward Knox, when he appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court to-day. Knox, who came out of gaol yesterday, celebrated his release by getting drunk. To-day, he pleaded guilty to a charge of drunkenness for the sixth time within six months. Mr. Hunt: I see he has a total of 96 previous convictions. He was fined £2, in default 14 days' l imprisonment.
