This would be reasonable if somebody would invent a contest which both sides could win.—San Dl*go “Union.” A clothing trade journal declares that women were never so well dressed as they are to-day, which may be the truth, but it is stretched pretty thin. He was much interested in the chaplain, who always opened the sessions with a prayer. Both in the Senate and the House he had observed this procedure.
