OLD-TIME DANCE
PONSONBY TO-NIGHT 1 The Grey Lynn Labour Party will 1 hold its “Best of All” Old Time Dance in the O’Neill Street Hall, Ponsonby, to-night. Dance patrons who prefer the old time to the modern jazz will find all that makes the recreation enjoyable at this gathering. Paltridge’s Orchestra supplies excellent music, and this, i with a fine floor, contributes greatly to the evening’s pleasure. Afterwards there is a free bus to 1 Point Chevalier. t 5 “Rose Marie,” Metro-Goldwyn-May-er’s screen adaptation of the famous t musical comedy, is being filmed entirely in technicolour. Renee Adoree and ■ Ralph Forbes have the leading roles, i and the supporting cast includes Plarry , Carey, Roy D’Arcy, Frank Currier, , Princess Neola and Lloyd Hamilton. William Nigh is directing.
