On the contrary, it is a laughable comedy, backed with amusing scenes, punctuated by a series of thrills experienced by a number of people stranded late at night at a lonely wayside railway station, and whose feelings have been harrowed by the stationmaster’s story of a ghostly train which is supposed to dash through the station with a rush of steam and a rattle of wheels altogther unnerving.
