MUNICIPAL CONCERT

TOWN HALL, SATURDAY The Municipal Band presents one of the finest programmes given so far this season in the Town Hall tomorrow night at eight o’clock. The Misses Alma McGruer and Beryl Smith, with Mrs. Ripley at the piano, will sing a series of solos and duets of an interesting character. The band will play some choice numbers, many of which will be heard for the first time, at these concerts. Three notable contributions are Eric Coates’s sparkling miniature overture. "The Merrymakers”; the finale to Tschaikowskv’s powerful “Fourth Symphony”- and four charming excerpts from Delibes’s suite de ballet, “Coppelia.” Booking arrangements are advertised.
