TWO BIG FEATURES Contradicting the statement that in le near future practically every scene i a picture will be photographed in-
side the studios, Phil Rosen photographed nearly three-fourths of “Heaven on Earth” on locations in Southern California. This picture will be the chief attraction at the Grand Theatre tonight. This production concerns the lives of the members of .. circus troupe in Prance. Many of the most picturesque locations in California were found by the production department of the MetroGold wyn-Mayer studios, and many spectacular war scenes were photographed near Las Turas Lake. Renee Adoree and Conrad Nagel play the leading roles, while the supporting cast includes Gwen Lee, Marcie Manon, Julia Swayne Gordon and Pat Hartigan. “Is Zat So?” Fox Films comedydrama based on the stage play of the same name, with George O’Brien and Edmund Lowe in the stellar roles, which has been playing to crowded houses a.t the Majestic Theatre, will be transferred to the Grand Theatre to-night. This is the story of a prize fighter and his manager in high society and is crowded with amusing episodes as well as thrills and excitement.
