GAME SHOOTING AT WESTERN SPRINGS

MORE WARNINGS POSTED As a result of agitation, coming from Point Chevalier, the City Council has increased or renewed the trespass signs at the Western Springs. It was suggested that there has been a certain amount of shooting at the lake, by people who could not go further afield, and felt a liking for a little change in their menu. As far as the council has been able to ascertain, the suggestion has not been based on fact, as it is unable to find that there has been any decrease in the number of birds, and the eight swans, in particular, are still on the lake.
