HEALTHY TONE RECORDED MINING BRIGHTER Healthy business continues to be recorded on the 'Change. In banks, New South Wales continue to improve, and buyers to-day advanced to £44 10s. Commercial of Australia are also in better tone and sales are recorded ait 28s 2d. Coals continue in demand with firm buyers for most shares. In timbers, Kauris have been done at 24s 6d, but this section generally is weak and depressed. Gilt-edged stocks are in good tone. Mining, generally, has brightened considerably.
