INCREASE IN ZOO’S VITAL STATISTICS
‘YTITAL statistics show another increase at the Auckland Zoo. The latest addition is a litter of coyotes (pronounced ky-o-tees), but the number or condition of the new family is unknown. Their mother has not yet allowed them Into the open, and it may be several days before they Eire seen,. It is expected that the register of new arrivals by birth and otherwise will be considerably increased by Christmas time.
