LONG LIST LENGTHENED TAMES McQUOID, aged 55, told ** Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court to-day that he was not very drunk yesterday, but the police had other unpleasant things to say about him. McQuoid was charged with drunkenness, and being idle and disorderly. Constable C. Goebel said that accused was a cadger, who hung about town drinking with his mates. He was convicted last June, and although he left the city he was back again in two weeks. "1 see,” said Mr. Hunt, “that he has 51 convictions —well, he’s got 52 now, . and ..three months’ imprisonment^
