CONCLUDING CONCERT

PARNELL LIBRARY COURSE The Parnell Library winter course concluded last evening with a recital arranged by Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Towsey. The first part of the programme comprised instrumental and vocal items by leading artists, and the second part was occupied by an amusing one-act comedy produced by Mrs. Bartley Baxter. Piano solos were played by Mr. Eric Maxwell and Miss Essie Dodd, and a ’cello solo by Miss Lalla Hemus. Songs were contributed by Mrs. Cyril Towsey, Mrs. Percy Thode, Miss Ina Thomson and Mr. Ernest Snell. Mr. Dan Flood contributed a monologue. Mrs. Charles Prime was the accompanist.
