MAORI YOUTH INJURED
FOUND UNCONSCIOUS OUT AFTER COWS ('From Our Own Correspondent) OPOTIKI, To-day. A Maori youth, 19 years old, was found yesterday on the farm of Mr. J. W. Irvine in an unconscious conditior and apparently suffering from a fracture of the skull. The youth. Tommy Rua. a cowboy on the farm, was sent to get the cows. Several cows arrived, but there was no *»tm of Rua. Mr. Irvine, the owner of the farm, vf'Snt to look for the youth and he was found in an unconscious state in a reddock. There is nothing to show how the scut!, was injured. Rua received medical attention and * *•« row regained consciousness, but is yet in a flt state to make a statenent as to how he received injury.
