ANNUAL BUDGET FIGURES Press Association. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. According to the International Missionary Council, which is to hold its meetings! in Jerusalem in April, 1928, the total annual budget of all the Protestant missionary societies of the world averages £11,154,938. The United States and Canada, which act as a unit in foreign missionary work, contribute on an average*. £7,634,419. Next comes Great Britain, with £2,385,418. Other countries supporting such work contribute as follows: — Australia, £240,130; Denmark, £122,081; Finland (three societies), £23,739; France, £12,985; Germany, £148,444: Netherlands, £92,250; Norway, £170,634; Sweden, £215,145; Switzerland, £59,076. New Zealand’s contribution for the past four years has averaged £92,018 a year.
