COMPETITIONS
FOR CHIEFS AND BRAVES 1— A; book prize will be awarded for the best original short story, not exceeding 500 words. 2 A book prize will be awarded for the best original poem, not exceeding 20 lines. 3 A book prize is offered for the the best original drawing, finished in Indian ink. Open to Girl Guides, Boy Scouts andi young people between the ages of 15 and 20, stories and poems to be written or typed on only one side nf the paper. The entries should reach Redfeather, the Wigwam, THE SUN Office, Auckland, on or before October 19, the winning competitors to be permitted a choice of book.
