NO THROUGH SERVICE

FAVONA ROAD BUSES By a majority decision the Transport Appeal Board yesterday afternoon decided that the proposed Otahuhu-Favona Road-One-hunga-Clty bus service could not be allowed. The board indicated that it thought a skeleton feeder service to Onehunga sufficient, and disallowed the appeal by the Passenger Transport Company against a similar decision by the licensing authority. The board expressed the opinion that the city should endeavour to run the feeder service to its trams, even if it cost a little to do so. Messrs. Grey, Campbell and E. TI. Potter dissented.
