HOSPITAL AUXILIARY

CONCERT AT INFIRMARY The inmates of the Auckland Infirmary were entertained in their concert hall to an enjoyable concert last evening, under the auspices of the Onehunga branch of the Hospital Auxiliary. The main part of the programme was supplied by the Albert Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Mr. Harold Hardy. Two recitations from Miss Madge Horne were well received, as was the song “My Ain Folk,” sung by Mrs. Sibbin. The inmates of the Costley Shelters, who were unable to be moved across to the concert hall, were entertained by two young dancers, the Misses Smallbone, whose efforts met with much favour.
