As tie Soviet Government hae ignored uhe verbal representations the French Minister at Moscow has. on behalf of his Government, handed to the Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Tchitcherin, a Note formally demanding the
replacement of the Soviet Ambassador to Paris, Rakowsky. The Minister in doing so said, no question of a rupture between the two Governments was involved. The newspaper “Le Journal’* says Kalinin, of the Soviet Council, has signed a decree recalling Rakowsky. The Soviet indicates its full confidence in Rakcwsky, who is to continue in the diplomatic service.—Sun.
