BUTTER STOLEN AT WHARF AN UNFORTUNATE RETURN VtTHEIN Therkel Jennesen Petersen ’’ was charged at tha Police Court to-day, he admitted stealing butter valued at £4 19s 6d, the property of the New Zealand Shipping Company. Senior-Sergeant P. J. McCarthy, said dhat accused was a waterside worker. Re had gome back to the wharf after work ceased, and when arrested had six pounds of butter in his pockets. He was remanded to appear for sentence to-morrow.
