To keep a cookery book clean, sew a ring at the top of the back binding and hang it on a hook fastened over the-kitchen table. Two spring clothespegs will hold the pages open and the recipe can be read without touching the book with sticky or greasy fingers. Cardboard containers which have held cornflour, arrowroot,, Dutch cleanser, etc., will, if cut in half, make splendid liittle pots for starting aafly seedlings.
