KEENNESS AT “500”

GLEN EDEN V HENDERSON Keen rivalry and a true sporting spirit characterised a 500 tournament at which Glen Eden defeated Henderson. The prizes offered probably proved an Incentive for the married people to do their best—at least they were certainly acceptable. They, and the winners, were as follow:—Quarterton of coal, Mrs. Page; a mat, Mrs. Dane and Mrs. Robertson; sib. iin of tea, Mr. Clark and Mr. Dane. The tournament took place at Henderson, 18 Glen Edenites participating.
