DEATH OF MR. J. C. FINLEY

Mr. John Cobum Finley, who died at his home. Station Road, Papatoetoe, yesterday morning at the age of 9S was born in Canada and many years ago arrived in New Zealand from Lindsay, Ontario, engaging in farming at Mangapiko, near Te Awanutu. For the past 14 years ho had lived with his two daughters, th e; Misses Finley, at Papatoetoe, Airs. Finley having predeceased him several years ago. In addition to his daughters Mr. Finley leaves one son, Mr. F. Finley, c Pukerimn. A service was conducted at the horn yesterday afternoon by the Rev. P. C. Davis, prior to the body being conveyed to Te Avamutu, where the funeral will take place to-day at Ht. , John’s Cemetery.
