The other four, if approved, will consist of the combined opening and closing days, which may be taken for granted,a cruising day in which it is proposed to combine with the Victoria and Richmond Cruising Clubs if the latter are agreeable, and last but not least, I-ipton Cup day. If all clubs are equally prepared ■to give and take this year, the difficult question of pleasing everybody, should b» difficult no longer.
FRAMEWORK TAKES SHAPE Akarana's new clubhouse is gradually taking shape. A working bee of 20 or so was busy during the week-end. and the frame-work of the first story now shows how much hard toil has been put into it. It is truly a labour of love with Akarana members, and if hard work goes for anything it should not be long before the club is occupying a home that will make it the envy of many others that have been fortunate enough to possess a clubhoust for many seasons.
