Drunk and Disorderly.—Murda Wussuina, a coloured seaman, was fined £ 1 at the Police Court to-day for being disorderly while drunk.
Schoolmaster Injured.—While riding a motor-cycle at Paeroa, Mr. G. Callaghan, schoolmaster, crashed into a bank. Pie received painful cuts and abrasions and was rendered unconscious.
Fighters Fined.—Edward Kelly, aged 42, and Janies Daly, aged 29, both battered, appeare# at the Police Court to-day and were each fined £1 for fighting in a public place.
Farmers’ Union Rally.—The interests of the Farmers’ Union are to be pushed in the Bay of Plenty during the present month. Meetings will be addressed by Captain Colbeck and Mr. Rush worth.
A Regular Offender.—Cecilia Ah Lap, aged 36, pleaded guilty at the Police Court to-day to her fourth charge of drunkenness within six months. She also admitted breaking her prohibition order. She was fined £5, in default 14 days’ imprisonment.
