"TIMES TO LOVE”
GRIFFITH BREAKS RECORDS Raymond Griffith, “the high hat comedian,” broke two records in the first two weeks of production of his new' Paramount starring comedjr, “Times to Love.” In the first week he kissed Vera Voronina, his leading woman, in a scene in the picture. It was the first screen kiss in his 10-year picture career! Then, in the second week of production, he abandoned his high hat. The headgear he has worn throughout every one of his Paramount pictures was laid aside. The star, however, did select an unusual substitute. The new headgear was a halo! Griffith wears it, in the hilarious sequence in -which he returns as a departed soul to his spiritualistic sweetheart, after he hs.s given his word of honour to William Powell never to see her again in the flesh. “Times to Love.” written by Alfred Savior and adapted by Pierre Collings, was directed by Frank Tuttle.
