Miss Nuthall beat Miss Kallmeyer, 10- "12, 6—3, 6 —2. Mrs. Godfree defeated Frau Neppach, 6—l. 6—4. Crole Rees defeated Kleinschroth, 6—4, 6—4, 6—2. Moldenhauer. the German champion, defeated Higgs, 7—5. 6—o, 6—l. Demasius defeated Greig, 4—6, 4—6, 6—4, 6—4, V—s. TABLE TENNIS
TOURNAMENT TO-NIGHT Another handicap progressive tournament will be held at the Y.M.C.A. to-night. It will be on the same lines as the last tournament. Play will be divided into sections and the winner of each section will play off for the tinal. Play against each opponent is to be one game of 31 points advantage. If there is time the best of three advantage sets may be played in the semi-final* and final.
MAORI RUGBY REP. MATCH AT OPOTIKI
(From Our Own Correspondent) OPOTIKI, Saturday. A Tauranga representative Maori Rugby team met the Opotiki Maori team at Opotiki to-day. In the first half, the Opotiki team easily held the advantage, leading by 12 points to 3 at half-time. Tho Tauranga team improved considerably in the second half, but Opotiki won the match by 18 points to 6. Opotiki scored six unconverted tries. Tauranga kicked two penalty goals. The game was open and fast throughout. The Opotiki backs handled the ball brilliantly.
