LIBRARY CONCERT

PARNELL An unusually attractive programme has been arranged by Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Towsey for the concluding concert of the Parnell Library course, which takes place on Tuesday, October 11. The vocal part of the programme will be sustained by Mrs. Percy Thode, Mrs. Cyril Towsey, Miss Ina Thomson, and Mr. Ernest Snell. Instrumental numbers will be given by Miss La.lla Hemus (cello), Miss Essie Dodd (piano), Mr. Eric Maxwell (piano), while humour will be provided by M:r. Dan Flood. A one-act comedy, entitled “The Signs of the Times,” produced by Mrs. Zoe Bartley Baxter, will complete the entertainment.
