EDDIE CANTOR RETURNS Eddie Cantor is going back to his first love, the stage. The popular comedian, who transferred his laugh-making artistry to the screen in two pictures for Paramount, “Kid Boots,” and “Special Delivery,” will make no more pictures for at least a year, it has been announced by P. B. Schulberg, associate producer. The two pictures scheduled for him will be postponed while he fulfil, s a stage contract with Florence Ziegfeld, New York theatrical producer, who starred Cantor in his famous “Follies.” Cantor’s work on the screen won instant popularity. With Clara Bow as the heroine, his first picture, “Kid Boots,” was a boxoffice sensation, and which his latest relase, “Special Delivery,” with Jobyna Ralston will repeat.
