VICTORIA LEAGUE

CONCERT AT HOSPITAL A delightful party was given at the Auckland Hospital on Monday afternoon, when the Victoria League Subcommittee entertained the children of Ward 20. The party was given to farewell a little girl who has been a patient for a considerable time, and who is leaving shortly for her home overseas. Paper caps, balloons and squeakers made the ward look very gay, and games and competitions were played. The Misses Richardson and Adkin recited for the children, and a dainty afternoon tea brought the party to a close. The following girls helped to make the party a success: The Misses Cooke, Aickin, Tancred, Adkin, De Renz:y, Brown. Clarke, Maddox, Scott and Richardson.
