LATE MR. R. H. HOPKINS

Mr. Richard Harris Hopkins, of Lucerne Road, Remuera, who was well known in commercial circles in Auckland for many years, died last_ evening at the age of 68. Born in Brailes, Warwickshire. Mr. Hopkins came to New Zealand 40 years ago, and in 1891 established a business in Fort Street as an importer of spices and butchers’ requisites, retiring in 1917. He was a member of the Auckland Club and the Auckland Racing Club. Mr. liopkins is survived by one son and two daughters.
