LEAGUE REFEREE LOSES HIS CLOTHES A COMPENSATION CLAIM At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby League held last evening, a report was received from the Referees’ Association stating, that one of its members had his clothes stolen from the Domain during the progress of a match last Saturday. Mr. O. Adamson said these cases were altogether too frequent, and in the past claims for compensation had been refused. The chairman said he was in sympathy with the claim, but it would be unwise to establish a precedent. It was eventually decided to leave the matter in the hands of the secretary. and notify the police of the circum stances. The Soutli Auckland League wrote accepting October 15 as the date for the Northern Union Cup match against. Auckland. Permission to use Carlaw Park on. October 22 was granted to the Post ■-*nil Ttilearanb teams.
