AN INDIAN WEDDING
DOUGLAS AS BEST MAN Douglas Fairbanks acted as best n an at the wedding of an American Indian at the United Artists Studio during the past week. The groom was Chrh Martin* a Yaqui, ami the bride was Julia Rodriguez. As a wedding present, Fairbanks gave Martin a role n his new production, “The Gauche.” One of Fairbanks’s .leading ladies - T the production, Lupe Velez, acted as maid of honour. Martin is an educated Indian and has planned to make pictures among the Yaqul.s. He has already made one or two small films with Indians as actors.
