npHE search for the missing I launch Speedwell has so far brought no news of her whereabouts. The Government steamer Tutanekai, under direct instruction from the Minister of Marine, lit keeping a look-out iri the gulf.
Launches have circled Kawau and the Ulimaroa kept a watch when off Cape Maria Van Dieman yesterday. Mr. Edwin Walker, of Waitangi, left Auckland for Russell in the Speedwell more than a week ago and was lasi: seen off Warkworth.
