NORTHERN ROADS

CLAY DRYING QUICKLY According to information received by the Auckland Automobile Association the clay roads in North Auckland are drying quickly, and, if the fine weather continues, most of them will be available to motorists very shortly. Cars can now get through to Waiwera without much trouble, though the road through Albany should be used, the main route from Devonport being in poorer condition. To-day motorists are passing between Whangarei and Kawakawa with- ] out the use of chains.
