"COLLEEN BAWN” FAIR
On a hundred and fifty guests responded to an invitation of Mrs. Fat liallj’ tu meet at her residence, “Manakau,” Parnell, last Thursday evening in order to assist in forwarding the interests of the forthcoming "Colleen Bawn" fair. Music, games and competitions were indulged in, and after a dainty supper had been done justice to. the' distribution of trophies took place. The principal prize, a crystal wireless set, was won by Mrs. P. Barry, who received the congratulations of her many Auckland friends. As a result of a very happy evening’s entertainment the funds of the fair will be substantially augmented.
